Community Voices for Voice of the Martyrs – Bob and Jonty are Voice Volunteers for Voice of the Martyrs, an Interdenominational, Nonprofit, Christian organization dedicated to assisting the Persecuted Church. Until a few years ago, Bob and Jonty were unaware of the atrocities that were taking place in various parts of the world to individuals. However, after visiting a local Church in the Orlando area, their eyes were opened by a VOM presentation. Bob and Jonty believe that you arenʼt held accountable for what you donʼt know, but once you do know the truth, thatʼs a different story. They started holding prayer meetings in their home on a monthly basis and got involved with projects of encouragement; letting those who were suffering know they werenʼt forgotten. After retiring in January 2012 (Bob from the Swimming Pool Industry, and Jonty from Nursing in the Seminole County Public Schools), they felt God was calling them into a deeper commitment to speak out on behalf of their hurting Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Ashraf and Nivin are the founders of Lift Your Eyes Ministries, ( a nonprofit, Christian organization dedicated to reaching the “least of the unreached people,” with a special focus on Persecuted Christians in Egypt as well as other countries in the Middle East. They have been in ministry for over 30 years, serving the Lord in various capacities with Campus Crusade for Christ, Heartland Ministries, Hope for Ishmael, Voice of the Martyrs and Converge Worldwide, as well as teaching at Heartland Christian College. Ashraf and Nivin have had the opportunity to reach out to people from different religions, culture and backgrounds and to be an extension of the body of Christ, by meeting the needs of those who have lost everything and are living in abject poverty. Other areas of ministry have involved translation, administration, preaching, discipleship, as well as planning and heading up short-term missions trips to the Middle East. Ashraf has just returned from a 30 day missions trip to Egypt, where he had the privilege of visiting and ministering to the families of the 21 Coptic Christians who were beheaded by ISIS.
